Hey all! My name is Ashley Molina, I am a first-generation Latina, who has always dreamed big.

I started my career in business in fashion, thinking I’d someday be an executive at a big company like Gucci, Chanel, or Louis Vuitton. I received my BS and MBA but quickly learned tech was the way to go.

Coming out of grad school I set out to create my first fashion app, etiqett and launched it in the iOS store in August 2017. It failed quickly because I hadn’t done the right user research. Knowing I never wanted this to happen again, I enrolled in UCLA’s extension UX Certificate program to learn more about UX.

Just 4 classes in, I landed my first job at Prize Logic; the rest is history. I then went on to create one of Wayfair’s first delivery apps, its first warehouse receiving app, and its first contract management system for freight. I was later hired by Tile to manage all projects revenue related, including their website redesign and Premium upsells. After a little less than a year, I was recruited by Live Nation to be their first Design leader on their digital team.
